Life Education

In an inspiring and international folk high school community, we will go on an exciting adventure into the world of pedagogy through play, exercises, practice, and good conversations. Where do you find the key to a good conversation? How do you calm yourself standing in front of an audience? Where do you find the tools to see and understand other peoples’ motivation - And perhaps your own? These are some if the questions we will delve into in our Life Education program.

The quote above embodies the respect and humility required when working with individuals. Our perception of each person can significantly influence their life's trajectory. Therefore, we prioritize addressing profound questions: What does it mean to be human, and how can we positively impact each other? In our Life Education program, we delve into pedagogy, psychology, and more within the welcoming and secure community of a folk high school. This environment provides the ideal backdrop for both personal and professional growth.

Life Education is a very broad subject, where you learn how to give presentations without worries, dive into pedagogy, philosophy, psycology and much more.

Practice the art of communication

In Life Education, we operate based on three fundamental elements: a) to work with people, b) be active, and c) to know oneself. Our approach is centered around the realm of imparting knowledge, employing a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises. Additionally, we explore genuine human connections through internships, offering real-world experiences with real people

On the folk high school, we shall debate and explore pedagogy, philosophy, psychology, and the history of ideas.

Astrid Ravn Andersen

Astrid has a master's degree in Danish and psychology and has a special love for language, creative communication and communities. She loves to be in nature, sing together and work with all kinds of creative projects.

Asmus Wisler Møller

Asmus has studied History of Ideas in many different places. He wrote his master's thesis on the importance of curiosity and is generally shaped by an urge to see and understand connections through geography and time.
