What's on the schedule in Nature and Kayak?
Back to nature – on land and at sea
In the coldest months of the year, we will be landbound in the wild. You will learn about biodiversity and about how to look out for nature in your everyday life. We will also go on search for mushrooms, berries, herbs, seaweed, shrimps, fish, clams, crabs and oysters.
When the season and water is warm enough, we will jump into the kayaks and explore nature at sea. We are going to sail, fish, snorkel and go UW-hunting (underwater hunt). We will kayak in the area around beautiful northern Fyn with its’ stunning waters, lagoons and small islands, including the untouched, wild island Æbelø.
Sailing in the kayak will offer quiet zen-like experiences as well as physical action with high intensity. You will be trained to handle the kayak in low, quiet water and once you have learned the basic techniques, we will go on longer trips.
