What will we be doing?
We will investigate the world in which we live and how we should relate to it.
In a mix of interactive exercises, reflective discussions, and professional input, we will explore and challenge opinions and world perspectives which affects the global exercise of power. We will work with present conflicts, challenges, and movements which shape our world. For example: How could it be that Myanmar once again have converted into a military regime after years of democracy? How does the economic and population growth in Asian countries affect our understandings of democracy, climate change, and great power nations? And how do movements like MeToo and BlackLivesMatter evolve and spread? We will reflect, with curiosity, upon prejudices when learning to be a part of multicultural collaboration. We will learn to cope with future conflicts and in this way, you will generate a deeper understanding of the world and your role in it.
