In Game Design, we start with the fundamental principles of game development. You don't need any prior experience - just a passion for games and a willingness to learn. You'll learn how to take an idea and make it a reality using various tools and techniques.

We'll be working in Unity and the programming language C#.

In recent times, games have undergone a radical development. We have the opportunity to step into and interact with beautiful fantasy worlds, and not just observe the brave knight, but be the ones who defeat the dragon. Game Design can provide you with tools used in the gaming industry today, and enable you to develop and program your very own games!

A large part of the subject will focus on storytelling. How do you create an engaging, immersive story in a video game? How can gameplay and interaction be used to convey a feeling, an idea, or a message? We will explore different storytelling techniques and see how they are used in games.

We will also delve into the visual aspect of game development. You will get the opportunity to learn about animation and how it can be used to bring your characters and worlds to life. From simple movements to complex sequences, you will learn to create smooth and expressive animations that contribute to your narrative.

By learning to design games, we open a door to a new world of expressive possibilities. Instead of telling stories, we invite our audience to live them. We give them the chance to explore, experiment, and make their own choices. It is this that makes games such a powerful and fantastic form of art.
