Study trip
Poland
On this study trip, we will explore a country standing on the threshold of the future, with doors leading in very different directions. We will seek out Polish voices and meet people who are engaged in determining the direction society should take.
On our itinerary is the bustling city of Krakow. There aren't many cities like Krakow, which seamlessly blends history and modern urban life like the major city in southern Poland. The old royal city, with its majestic buildings whose structure was conceived as far back as 1257, offers a bit of everything. Particularly noteworthy are the gastronomic experiences, which seem to have an extra edge. Krakow is, among other things, a paradise for vegan cuisine—a fact that may surprise given the common narrative about Poland's coal industry and its reputation as a less climate-ready country. This paradox is something we must certainly taste and explore thoroughly.
The area around Krakow also offers great natural experiences, with a wealth of southern Poland's most interesting and beautiful sights. This includes the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane, which offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, river rafting, and mountain biking in the stunning mountain landscapes. We'll definitely be trying out these activities during our study trip.
All in all, this study trip promises to offer a bit of everything: political insights, nature experiences, physical activity, and exceptional gastronomic delights.
